1. High early wear

The early wear is high, and the reasons are: 1. The cutting speed is too high, 2. The tool material is not suitable for processing products, 3. Too many times of cutting, 4. The cutting depth of the final finishing is small, 5. Insufficient coolant, etc. ;

When the cutting speed is too high, the cutting speed can be reduced according to the product; if the material of the blade is not suitable for processing the product, the cutting tool material should be replaced; When the cutting depth is small, the cutting depth of the final finishing should be set to more than 0.05MM, and the coolant containing lubricant should be supplied to the cutting edge to reduce friction and prolong the life of the cutting blade.

2. Uneven wear of the left and right cutting edges

There are three reasons for the uneven wear of the left and right cutting edges, unreasonable remote angle, single side edge cutting, and asymmetry of the left and right half angles of the thread itself.

Treatment method: If the remote angle is unreasonable, the remote angle should be corrected in time. When performing single side edge cutting, it should be changed to alternate edge cutting. When the pitch half angle of the thread itself is asymmetrical, adjust the cutting angle of the tool to the thread profile. 1/2 for cutting.

3. Chipping

Chipping is caused by three factors. In the production process, the cutting speed is too low, the amount of passivation is small, and there is too much waste on the blade. The method of dealing with these is also very simple. Increase the cutting speed, increase the amount of passivation, and The lubricating oil and coolant for replacement can avoid chipping.

4. Damage

During the production process, the breakage of the threaded insert is due to the factors that induce breakage in the working shape. As long as the chamfering at the entrance is cut and the groove is cut at the end, its size is larger than that of the threaded cutter. The tool material will also reduce the damage to the machined surface of the material.

Reasonable selection of thread cutters for product processing can improve the efficiency of production and processing and reduce loss.
