For those with a large pitch (asymmetric tooth profile), rough and fine milling must be divided, and those with hard material or large elasticity and large depth-to-diameter ratio need to be processed with 2-3 cuts, otherwise there will be large vibration, poor surface quality, and plugging. Don’t wait for questions. In the processing, it is also necessary to pay attention to the extension of the threaded arbor as short as possible to increase rigidity, reduce vibration, and increase feed. The tool selection step is to select the blade according to the pitch to be processed, and the rotation diameter dc is smaller than the size to be processed. Thread milling programming

Among the cutting methods of thread milling, the arc cutting method, the radial cutting method, and the tangential cutting method are used. We recommend using the 1/8 or 1/4 arc cutting method. After the thread milling cutter passes 1/8 or 1/4 pitch, it cuts into the workpiece, and then goes through 360° full circle cutting and interpolation for one week, moving axially One lead, and finally 1/8 or 1/4 pitch to cut out the workpiece.
