1. Face milling cutter

2. Cylindrical milling cutter

Cylindrical milling cutters are mainly used for horizontal milling machines to process planes. Cylindrical milling cutters are generally integral. The material rod of the milling cutter is high-speed steel, the main cutting edge is distributed on the cylindrical surface, and there is no secondary cutting edge. Milling cutters are divided into rough and fine. Coarse-tooth milling cutters have fewer teeth. The cutter teeth are strong and have a large space for chips. They can be reground many times and are suitable for rough machining. The fine-tooth milling cutter has a large number of teeth and a flat work, which is suitable for finishing.

3. Keyway milling cutter

The keyway milling cutter is mainly used for processing round head closed and high-speed machining center grooves on vertical milling machines. Machine tool technical experts explained: The milling cutter looks like an end mill, with no holes on the end face, and the end face cutter teeth start and stop centering from the outer circle, and the helix angle is small, which enhances the strength of the end face cutter teeth. The cutting edge on the face cutter tooth is the main cutting edge, and the cutting edge on the cylindrical surface is the secondary cutting edge. When machining the keyway, feed a small amount along the axial direction of the milling cutter each time, and then feed along the radial direction, and repeat this many times, that is, the machine tool electrical appliance can complete the machining of the keyway.

4. End milling cutter

The end mill is the most widely used milling high-speed machining center cutter in the milling process of the CNC machining center. It is also the machining center tool with the most CNC configurations. It is mainly used for processing grooves, stepped surfaces and forming surfaces on vertical milling machines. The main cutting edge of the end mill is distributed on the cylindrical surface of the milling cutter, and the secondary cutting edge is distributed on the end face of the milling cutter, and there is a center hole in the center of the end face, so it is generally not possible to make a feed motion along the radial direction of the milling cutter during milling. Feed movement can only be made along the radial direction of the milling cutter. End mills are also divided into rough machine tool electrical teeth and fine teeth. Coarse-tooth milling cutters have 3-6 teeth, which are generally used for rough machining; fine-tooth milling cutters have 5-10 teeth, which are suitable for finishing. . The diameter range of end mills is 2-80mm, and the shank has various forms such as straight shank, Morse taper shank and 7:24 taper shank.
